Our Menu and Food

Our most popular dish is Goan Mackerel Masala Dahl – boneless fillets of fresh mackerel cooked in our own freshly made Goan masala paste, served with our special masala dahl, steamed Basmati rice and fresh kachumber salad. We also offer a vegan version of this dish.



Other dishes include Goan Fish Curry, a hot, spicy and irresistibly delicious dish made from tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, tamarind and freshly ground spices, in which we cook the best quality seasonal white fish, usually pollack, but occasionally another of the sustainable species. We serve this with steamed Basmati rice.

A milder alternative is Fish Caldine, a light and fragrant curry of seasonal white fish, containing coconut milk and fresh chillies, also served with Basmati rice.

For breakfast we offer a superb version of kedgeree, which we make using our own hot smoked salmon, with free range organic eggs, peas, rice and a mild spice mix – a healthy and delicious alternative to bacon and eggs.


All meals are gluten-free and dairy-free. Unless stated, all meals are nut-free and egg-free.

BREAKFAST (until mid day)

Kedgeree of our own special hot smoked salmon, free range organic eggs, peas and basmati rice with fragrant spices and fresh parsley.

AFTERNOON and EVENING (from mid day on)

Goan Fish Curry – fresh pieces of seasonal white fish in a medium hot sauce made with freshly ground spices and fresh vegetables, served with Basmati rice.

Fish Caldine – A mild, fragrant curry of seasonal white fish, with coconut milk, fresh chillies and aromatic spices, served with Basmati rice. (N.B. Contains nuts)

Goan Mackerel Masala Dhal – boneless line caught mackerel fillet cooked in a fresh masala paste, served with masala dhal (lentils, tomatoes, coconut, spices) and Basmati rice.

Vegan Masala Dhal – Our own Goan masala dhal made from lentils, tomatoes, coconut milk, onions, garlic, ginger and spices, served with Basmati rice and fresh kachumber salad (tomatoes, red onions, coriander). 

  • All fish is from sustainable stocks caught using traditional ecologically sound methods.
  • Ingredients are locally sourced where possible, with the emphasis on fresh organic produce.
  • All our sauces and salads are freshly made by our chefs.
  • All meals nut-free and gluten-free except where stated.

Since all of our fish is from fresh fish markets, our menu is dependent on what we are able to source on the day. Therefore not all items are always available and we reserve the right to substitute other items if necessary.
